Computer Assisted Eye Exams
Our eye exams include computerized pre-refraction and digital retinal imaging. Exams are available for routine care, glasses and contact lenses, management and treatment of ocular diseases, and we provide surgical co-management care with local ophthalmologist.
Contact Lens fittings (all types)
We stock spherical contacts from many different vendors, including Ciba, Cooper Vision and Johnson and Johnson. We also have most trials in stock for unusual rx’s and astigmatism so that you may have a trial to use that day, or at least something to use until your stock order comes in.
Refractive Surgery Co-Management
All the doctors can assist with all pre and post-operative care. We work closely with some of the areas top refractive surgery providers. We provide all the follow up care as well as the pre surgery exam.
Facilities and Equipment
In-Office Laboratory
Our in-office laboratory allows us to edge a variety of new lenses quickly, often while your wait. Our designer frames, offered at competitive prices, can be used by our in-house lab to have your single vision glasses made that day or sometimes while you wait. Progressives and bifocals take a few days extra time.
DRS Retinal Camera
We now offer the use of the best retinal camera available today. The camera is fully automated and allows us to capture extremely detailed images of your eyes. These images are then kept on file to provide year to year health comparisons. It is a truly revolutionary device in the eyecare field and we are the first in the Richmond, Virginia area to offer its use.
Insurance & Payment
Accepted Plans
We participate with VSP, EyeMed, and the Community Eye Care vison care plans.
For medical care we participate with Medicare, Blue Cross and many other plans, please contact us with any questions to help understand your insurance options and plans. Please check before your apointment to be sure we do participate in your plan.
