RVA Eye Care was started in 1986 with the opening of Ryan Vision Center on Patterson Avenue by Pat Ryan. Dr Robert Rainer opened the second location in 1990 near Libbie Avenue. The third location, located in Glen Allen, was opened in 2000. In 2020, we welcomed Dr. Alex Vakili to the practice and Dr. Seth Gorman joined in 2021.
Our common goal has been to have a friendly, efficient, up to date practice that shows care and concern for the patient’s visual needs. This goal has driven our growth and will always be the overriding theme of our practice.
